Terms and
Conditions
Adventure requires trust. These terms outline our mutual commitment to safety and transparency while exploring the world's most breathtaking summits.
1. Booking and Cancellation
We're thrilled you've chosen Zenith Summit Guides for your next expedition. When you book a tour with us, a non-refundable 20% deposit is required to secure your specialist guide and equipment. Why do we do this? Because our mountain pros trek deep into the backcountry to prepare your route weeks in advance.
Cancellations made more than 45 days before departure allow for a credit toward a future workshop. However, if you cancel within 14 days of the ascent, we can't offer a refund due to the fixed costs of permits and logistics. It ain't pretty but it works for keeping our local guides employed fairly.
2. Liability and Safety
Let's talk about the risks. Wilderness survival and high-altitude climbing are inherently dangerous activities. Have you considered your current physical fitness? By signing our waiver, you acknowledge that Zenith Summit Guides is not liable for injuries resulting from natural disasters, weather changes, or the inherent risks of the wild.
Our guides have the final word. If a lead guide determines the weather is unsafe for a summit attempt, we descend. No arguments. Your life is worth more than a photo at 14,000 feet. // NOTE: consider extracting to manual safety doc
3. Payment Terms
Final balances are due exactly 30 days before the start of your program. We accept major credit cards and wire transfers. For bespoke adventure planning, additional research fees may apply if your itinerary changes after the initial contract is signed. Don't worry, we'll always be transparent about the numbers.
